We have a very exciting opportunity available for a proactive, creative and analytical individual looking to develop their career in content marketing.

We are looking for a passionate marketer with at least 12 months agency side experience to lead social media and SEO content strategy across a range of exciting brands.

Reporting to the Head of Content and being an instrumental part of the content team, you will be helping to create campaigns, develop engaging content and deliver best-in-class social and SEO content strategy.

Account Responsibilities

  • Develop social and content strategy in line with client briefs to achieve target KPIs for social and SEO clients
  • Account manage and lead as client point-of-contact, presenting ideas and results
  • Produce creative for social media schedules and SEO campaigns including GIFs, video, blogs and photography, working alongside internal and outsourced teams where required
  • Deliver end to end ground-breaking SEO campaigns on schedule, on budget, on target and in line with client needs
  • Develop relationships with media and site owners to maximise coverage
  • Assist with outreach to external blogs/website to promote content
  • Track, monitor and report using a variety of site, social and SEO tools
  • Copywriting and optimising existing content for SEO purposes
  • Understand latest trends and updates across social, SEO and digital PR
  • Be part of the pitch team for Fusion Unlimited

Person Specification

  • University educated – 2.1 or above preferred
  • Minimum of 12 months social / SEO content experience agency side (SEO essential)
  • An understanding of:
    • Onsite SEO practice including – keyword research, backlink profiling and writing meta data
    • PR practice and techniques
    • Social media practice, trends and market updates
  • Experience and confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience using social media, SEO and reporting software such as Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Data Studio
  • Able to organise and prioritise workloads
  • Creative flair with a great understanding of delivering within client requirements
  • Experience of best in class social media management and content creation (proficient in Photoshop preferred)
  • Strong campaign planning and strategy development skills
  • Excellent communications and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Able to work on own initiative and as a part of a team
  • Ambitious, hardworking and eager to learn with a can-do attitude
