We have an opportunity for a talented candidate to work on a contract basis, providing maternity cover in our SEO team working with some exciting brands. The initial contract will run from January to July 2026, with potential for the role to develop into a permanent role.
We are looking for someone with two years agency-side SEO content experience to write content across a range of exciting brands to help improve client visibility through SEO. You will become responsible for the life cycle of content, contributing to the concept, research, creation and promotion, and reporting back on your results.
Reporting to the Senior SEO Consultant and Operations Director, the successful candidate will be a key part of ensuring the content team maintains quality standards and clients remain happy whilst colleagues are on maternity leave.
What You’ll Do
- Support client and internal teams with content strategy
- Writing content such as articles, how-to guides, surveys, resources, whitepapers etc.
- Copywriting for client websites
- SEO optimisation of existing content
- Research for creating content pieces
- Assist with outreach to external blogs/website to promote content
- Report back on results
About You
- Minimum two years agency experience in a similar role
- Creative flair with a solid understanding of delivering within client requirements
- An ethos of using AI ethically in research but never in writing
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to organise and prioritise workloads
- Ambitious, hardworking and eager to learn with a can-do attitude
- Able to work on own initiative and as a part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Experience in blogging is beneficial
- Knowledge of SEO industry, content marketing strategies, and Google’s best practice content requirements (e.g. YMYL, EEAT) is beneficial
