Cotton Traders was founded by former England rugby players Fran Cotton and Steve Smith in 1987 and has grown to become one of the UK’s most successful multi-channel retailers, with 100+ retail stores nationwide.
We began working with Cotton Traders to create an affiliate programme that would reflect and complement the Cotton Traders business model across all other communication channels, whilst still driving incremental sales growth.
Our solution
In order to deliver a programme that worked alongside the other channels, a strong de-duplication policy was constructed in collaboration with Cotton Traders and the chosen affiliate network, Rakuten LinkShare.
Due to this strict policy close relationships with publishers was crucial for success; ensuring that all members of the programme understood the intricacies of the policy and the benefits that long term support would deliver.
In addition to this a robust promotional plan was created to not only allow publishers to promote exclusive offers to customers but to also allow Cotton Traders to drive sales with new customers or at a specific order value.
These strategies have evolved throughout the duration of the programme and have been instrumental in delivering consistent season on season growth.
We see continued enthusiasm and passion from the Fusion affiliate team and find working with them thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding. Above all they are very professional with their on-going communication and daily management of the channel
