Edinburgh Airport is the UK’s 6th busiest airport with more than 11,000,000 passengers per year.

Understanding the opportunity to expand existing, and create new revenue streams is part of the airports day to day operations.

Edinburgh Airport were looking to launch in the affiliate space as a brand new revenue channel, and wanted a dedicated partner to build and launch from scratch a successful affiliate programme.

The Fusion affiliate team devised and implemented a launch strategy to engage with current strategic affiliate partnerships to ensure that performance was delivered from day one.

Exclusive offers and deals were sourced from the Edinburgh Airport marketing team to secure prominent exposure on publisher sites as well as attracting new customers from the channel as quickly as possible.

In line with this the team also out reached to sector specific content publishers to deliver a programme that had a breadth of affiliate types delivering incremental sales revenue.

As a final piece of the puzzle a strict feedback system was put in place to report on performance to ensure that all stakeholders were confident that value was maximised from the channel.
