University of Leeds Case Study

Driving Open Day Registrations Through Audience-Led Media

Challenge

The University of Leeds wanted to attract high-quality prospective undergraduate applications that could ultimately support enrolments in 2027.

The campaign had an immediate role in promoting the university’s June Open Days, but conventional social media targeting options presented limitations when trying to reach younger prospective students.

Solution

We activated campaigns across Meta, TikTok and programmatic display to build awareness of the Open Days and encourage registrations and attendance.

Programmatic display complemented the social activity by using consented first-party data from Times Higher Education.

This allowed the campaign to reach audiences actively researching universities, browsing courses or comparing rankings, helping place the message in front of people demonstrating relevant intent.
