Background
asmodee is a major global publisher and distributor of board games, card games, and tabletop role-playing games, founded in France in 1995. It is one of the largest tabletop gaming companies in the world, holding the rights to, or distributing, iconic titles such as Catan, Ticket to Ride, Pandemic, Dobble/Spot it!, Dixit, and Azul.
In 2022, asmodee transitioned from Netalogue to Shopify, a critical move requiring skilled SEO oversight to both preserve organic visibility and to set the site up effectively to drive future organic growth. Additionally, to drive future growth against a backdrop of limited non-brand visibility, they needed to effectively position the brand as a trusted source in the gaming space and not just its heritage as a B2B brand.
The brief to Fusion was to cover all these key areas working to strengthen on-site performance through and beyond the transition whilst establishing a platform for future growth.
