Fusion appoints Pete Markey to spearhead company growth
27/04/2026
We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Pete Markey who recently joined the Fusion team as our Growth Director.
With over 20 years of industry experience combined with a wealth of knowledge, Pete is helping us to drive our ambitious plans for 2026 and beyond, with a key focus on creating more value for both new and longstanding clients.
Pete’s marketing career began at British Gas, from which he went on to work for popular household brands, including the AA, More Th>n Insurance, Post Office Limited, Aviva, TSB and Boots. Central to these roles was Pete’s passion for clients with “a focus on data and insight, and a drive on performance through clear brand positioning, creative and highly targeted media.”
He is delighted to have been made Growth Director at Fusion, saying: “The energy and passion in this team is amazing. We genuinely exist to help keep clients ‘One Step Ahead’ in their chosen markets and that powers how we show up each day and the work we do.
“It’s a high energy and high performance team doing great work – I am so proud of the work the team is doing right now and excited about what’s to come.”
Pete is based between Fusion’s Leeds and London offices, which reflects the breadth of regions the team is able to serve. Fusion’s new London office is in Soho Works, 180 Strand, and we share this space with incredibly progressive brands and startups. Of course, it’s also a great base to meet both new and longstanding clients.
Pete added: “At Fusion, we have a diverse and wide ranging client base from a mix of industries and therefore no two days are the same.
“We work with travel, transport, health, gaming and property brands each of whom are pushing to keep growing in their space and that makes the work we do really rewarding when we’re winning together.”
Outside of work, Pete keeps himself busy with a variety of creative outlets: “Last year, I learned musical improv and a group of us performed an entirely made up musical about a ship wrecked cruise ship!
“I also learned a bit of improvised hip hop and would love to do more lessons on this as it’s so much fun having to make up lines that rhyme and hit the beat. Improv is a great way to grow your creative muscle and shape new and exciting ideas so I’d highly recommend it.”
